Kourtney and Ben hosted their wedding festivities in the small town of Javier, Spain. I think the best part about capturing a destination wedding is that the overall experience isn't limited to the wedding day itself. Maybe the term "destination wedding" doesn't necessarily apply here. Ben actually grew up in Spain, so having the wedding take place there was extremely special and personal to him. After spending a week in a beautiful villa with Kourtney, Ben and their closest friends, we became a part of the experience, not just those who document it. We experienced everything from the Stag and Hen-do in the old town of Benidorm to a traditional feast in the mountains of Javier. Although Kourtney and Ben have friends and family from all the places they've lived; Australia, Canada, and Spain to name a few, everyone was brought together to share in this one of a kind adventure.
To tell the full story of this experience, I started the post off with the couples session we did in Old Town Javier. As we walked through the streets, Ben pointed out locations of his childhood memories and shared many stories of what it was like to grow up there. It's a pretty cool thing to bring all your closet family and friends to a place that has shaped who you are and be able to share that with them and your future wife. It goes without saying that the experience was an incredible opportunity for us to embrace European culture and travel to Portugal and Amsterdam on top of it all. A truly wonderful and unforgettable experienced created thanks to Kourtney and Ben's ability to trust us to capture such an intimate moment in their lives in such an intimate and important part of the world to them both, and now for their families.
Here is the love story of a Canadian woman and a Spanish (British) man who met in Australia, live in Canada and got married in Spain. Sounds like the making of a fantastic rom-com (rated R)
